Now it's time for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. I can't wait to go see the inside. It's so awesome having a temple right in our neighborhood!!

Free time... what's that?
This is how I have been spending my time for the last few months: Driving kids to and from practices at the stake center and conference center, helping make poodle skirts for all the girls in our ward, watching the long practices one to three times a week and helping out as much as I could to help the kids learn the dance. All of this was for the Oquirrh Montain temple district celebration that all came into place on Saturday at the Conference Center. The show was AMAZING!! The coneference center was filled with 7,000 youth performing dance and choir numbers for the prophet and their parents and leaders. There was so much energy and excitement in that building, and the spirit was so strong. It was a lot of work to get to the final performance, but it was worth it, and I know it will be an experience that each of those teens will never forget. I know I never will.
Our group put on a 50's number with poodle skirts, and carhop girls w/ old fashioned roller skates, and a couple of HOT vintage cars. We got the biggest cheer by far, but all of the dances and choir numbers were very impressive.
