George and I celebrated four years of marriage this week! We kind of went back and forth on what we were going to do to celebrate since we already had a babysitter. Just days before our anniversary, we found out that BYU would be playing Florida (sweet 16) right in the middle of all of our plans. Instead of having a husband engrossed in watching the updates on his phone during our date, I just decided to plan our date around the game. We dropped Max off with George's mom and then headed to Provo for a fancy late lunch at PF Changs (we pretty much had the place to ourselves), and then joined the crazy fans at BYU to watch the game broadcast at the Marriott Center. We thought for sure that the Cougars would win since George's fortune said that he would be on the "Receiving end of good fortune"... The Cougars hung in there to the end, but by OT Jimmer was pretty beat up, and the team just looked tired, it was all over. I guess George's good fortune was the fresh strawberry pie waiting for him at home, and being married to me, of course! Monday, March 28, 2011
Receiving End of Good Fortune

Happy Anniversary!! I'm glad you had a great day, and kudos to you Ash for planning around something so big! You're right, it's just annoying when they check their phone ever 2 minutes, so why not embrace it right??
