Congratulations Graduate!!

Congratulations Graduate!!! George finally did it! He jumped past another stepping stone in his life and graduated from Weber State University with honors, “Cum Laude,” in Construction management. I’m so proud of him; especially since I’ve seen the back end and witnessed how hard he has worked to be able to pull off an honors GPA while still working 40 + hours a week the entire time. Not to mention the 5 Associate degrees he finished years ago at SLCC, and the 20+ certifications he has received thus far in his field of work. He’s always been one to love learning, and I’m positive it won’t stop here.

Weber State is Great great great!!

George discoverd that there was a pond on the campus for the first time, his last semester of school. So observant!

The funny thing is that George has been taking all of his classes at the Weber extensions in Salt Lake and online, so his goal was to not have to set foot on Weber’s campus until his graduation day, but that plan was spoiled when his work contracted with Weber to start inspecting all of the new buildings going up on campus, and George was the man for the job. So, he ended up having to go to Weber’s campus many times before graduation, but for work… not school. I think he ended up only having to take one class on campus. This is a picture of George w/ his hard hat standing in front of one of the buildings he has been inspecting.
