This is one of the cool views we get to see every day driving to our house. This picture doesn't do justice to how amazing this mine is. It's one of the biggest open pit mines in the world, so it's no wonder that it has some of the biggest trucks in the world running the whole thing. The tire below is an actual sized tire from one of their dump trucks. And no, we aren't just midgets!
The Oquirrh Mountain Temple:
Last weekend we were surprized to come home and see that they had put the steeple and Angel Moroni on top of our temple. Now it's so tall, you can practically see it from everywhere... including our bedroom window!!
Oquirrh Lake:
We also have our own little lake, just down the street, which has tons of neat trails for bike ridding and roller blading, and there are boats to rent and tons of fish to catch.
Even Mandy was able to catch a fish... and it's just her size!!

We love living out here at Daybreak. There are so many fun places to play and explore. Just wanted to share a little bit of the fun with you all!!
