Yesterday was my first Mother’s day as a mom. I’ve never realized how much work actually goes into earning this title of “mother” but at the same time, how rewarding it can be. I love that I have this beautiful, perfect baby who calms down and will stop crying with the sound of my voice or my touch, and who will curl up his little legs and take a long nap on my chest after I feed him. I love the way he smells, and the sounds he makes. I love how much he wiggles every part of his body uncontrollably unless he’s wrapped up tight or cuddled up against my body. I love his little facial expressions that I’m not sure he can even control… because he’s still so little he only smiles when he’s sleeping, and it makes me wonder what he’s thinking about: his mother? Heaven? Milk? (George would probably answer puppies) And I just love how tiny all his little parts are… his hands and legs and feet and ears. I just want to eat him up some times!
Thanks to Max's talented Aunt Kate, we were able to do a fun 1 week photo shoot of Max and got some really cute pictures of him. Here are just a few of my favorites:

I love that little baby boy :) So precious.
Happy Mother's Day!! xoxo
Love the pix! Isn't it amazing how small and fragile they are, and you just want to snuggle them and keep them close to you? He is so precious! Take it easy and snuggle him every chance you get!!
