I never knew there were fish in this lake...

I totally don't love fishing, but I have to admit that it is fun when you are actually catching something. Every morning when I walk around the lake by our house I see these huge fish swimming around, and I started craving the idea of trying to fish for them. I called George one day after work last week to see if he would pick up some worms on his way home (I didn't have to pull his leg for that one) and we set out to go fishing in my secret spot (which I will not divulge). We were at it for only 5 minutes before I caught the giant beauty above (A large mouth bass) and within an hour we had caught at least 12 more! The best almost catch of the night was a fish that was at least 14 inches long, and HUGE!! Just as I was about to real it onto the dock, the fish broke my line and took my only hook and bobber with him. We were freaking out! Now we are bound and determined to go back out and catch that monster. Anyway, I was really proud of myself since this is the biggest fish I have ever caught, so I had to brag a little.
This was a catfish George caught... the one that got away was even bigger than this, and I'm not just telling a fish story.

Holy Huge!! So, can you take them home and cook 'em or just throw them back in??

I think you can keep up to four, but we aren't really in it for finding something to eat. I figure if we throw them back in then we have another chance to catch them again :)

That's cool you can keep some if you wanted to. Those are HUGE fish. Next time you go let me know and I'll come tag along :) Looks fun! Oh wait, do you have to have a fishing license? Probably so huh...
