Lava Hot Springs

We went to Lava Hot Springs last weekend with some friends to camp. The water slides were a lot of fun. And we took Max swimming for the first time and he LOVED it! He practically floats on top of the water, so we just held his head up and let him kick and splash.

We had the most fun just tubing down the freezing cold river. The rapids were actually pretty big, and the boys even found a few waterfalls to go down, but were not very successful at keeping from tipping out.

Max was excited that he got to hang out with his girlfriend, Cambree, all weekend. They look so cute in their little footie jammies :)

Sam and Jen spoiled us with dutch oven meals for breakfast and dinner.

The campsite was really nice, with grass, and flushing toilets. The only downside was that it got cold at night, so we were all up all night freezing, listening to the train go by and blow it's whistle every hour, the coyotes howling, the little girl in a tent nearby crying.... And even with all that going on, the babies slept great. They didn't wake up once. I think we have two good little campers on our hands.
