My family ran in the Dirty Dash 5K race at Soldier's Hollow this weekend. Hands down one of the best times of my life! Our team name was "Runaway Bride" in honor of Chris and Cameryn who are getting married on Saturday. Starting line dash. Running up a hill full of mud was not very easy.
There were lots of obstacles along the way: Jumping over hay bales and hurdles, skipping through tires, crawling through tunnels, and sloshing through mud, and finishing in a puddle of mud that was waist deep.
We stayed in our "V" formation throughout most of the race... We must hold the wedding line!

Coldest shower I have ever taken in my entire life... I really almost passed out. There were piles and piles of shoes and clothes by the showers from everyone just stripping down and leaving the dirty behind. The shoes will be cleaned up really good and donated to Africa.
SO FUN! I highly recommend this race to anyone who likes to get dirty and have a good time!

Callie and I were going to do the dirty dash..but she ended up getting pregnant. Dang! It looks like you guys had so much fun.
Geoff and I were laughing out loud at this post (which was a big problem because we are in a library.) Loved the pictures. Looked like such a blast!
