Please tell my sister that she should use this picture as her engagment picture... might as well save the money on the photographer when you already have an amazing picture like the one above, right?
He invited all of our family and their close friends to be there to watch them land, but having been on an air balloon ride before, George and I knew that was going to be a hard task since the balloon lands wherever the wind blows it. We got up bright an early so we could be there to watch them take off incase we couldn't catch them on the way down.
There was a big group of us hiding behind a hill taking unsuspecting pictures of them. Then it was a chase around Park City to find where the balloon would land. There was a train of about 10 cars following behind the balloon van, driving, stopping, taking pictures, kids without seatbelts, more driving, more pictures... it was a miracle we didn't get pulled over.
So, Marcus had a few ideas running through his head of how he wanted to propose to Aubrey, but the Smith family always encourages the ideas that will result in the best pictures... So, he stuck with his idea of taking her on a hot air balloon ride. He told her that he had won a fancy dinner and hotel room at work, so they got a big group of friends together to go to Park City to spend the night and play in the hotel room. After being up talking all night, he told her around 5AM that she needed to go get ready, and took her to the balloon site.

We heard the news at church from Marcus's sisters and we're so excited for them!
