Thanks to a cheap SW deal and babies fly free, Max and I were able to fly out to Colorado again this last week to keep my sister, Alison, company while her husband was in Atlanta for training, and were able to hook up with a bunch of my colledge roommates again. We had so much fun!!

| I don't think my pics are in order, but Ellen, Chelsey, and I were able to go to the Devner museum of Nature and Science to check out the space exhibit and the dinosours. Max loved going to the moon with Elmo, and dressing up as an astronaught, but the dinosaur bones were boring, and the animatronic dinosaurs terrified him. He was clinging to my arm like his life depended on it. Now when I show him fake rubber dinosaurs or even the pink dragon costume my sis-in-law gave us, he freaks out! It's pretty funny. |

| Max and me at the swimming pool. |
| Max and his Auntie Alison at the swimming pool. He loves all kinds of balls if you can't tell. |
| Max had so much fun playing with Weston this week. He thinks Weston is hilarous, especially when he growls at their dog. Weston was so concerned about Max this whole trip, and everywhere we went we would hear things like, "Mom, what is Max saying?" "Mom, why did Max say, gurble?" "Mom, Max says that he thinks I'm a house." Or my all time favorite, "Mom, Max said that he thinks I'm a girl, but I'm really a boy." |
| We did some rock climbing at the rec center since we woke up to snow on Saturday and had to find fun things to do inside. |
| Max loved this play house at Chelsey's house. One day I sat and watched him for thirty minutes straight: ring the doorbell, then crawl inside the house, shut the door, giggle and poke his head out the window, then crawl out the front door and sit on the porch bench... then it was back to the doorbell. |
| We had fun playing at the park with Aunt Alison |
| Weston, Max and Gavin at the zoo. |
| Chelsey and Ellen. It was so much fun hanging out with you girls all week! |
| This was my favorite animal at the zoo... He kind of looks like Rafiki, maybe I watched the Lion King too many times at Alison's house that week. |
| Max's favorite part of the zoo was the train ride. |
| And then it was off to the moon! |
| This was the fun zone in the Denver Musem. We spent hours in there playing with all the learning games and puzzles. |
| Digging up dinosaur bones. |
| Dancing! |
| And busting out the beat with all kinds of musical instruments. |
| Max already misses his Ali. She was trilled to come home from work every evening to him yelling her name out the window, "Ali, Ali, Ali!" And Max was thrilled to cuddle up with Ali to some stories in her bed each night. |
I didn't get pictures at Shawntae's house, but it was fun getting to see where she lives and to have a fun girl's lunch (thanks to Pat being willing to babysit) so we could reminice about all the good times at BYU. I love it! And I already miss you girls!! Be back soon!

I love the pictures! I am so happy you had a good time. But remember you're not allowed to leave for that long again because I Miss you. ;)
Yay! I'm so glad you had a great time!! And I started laughing at that last pic of the comforter with the hearts on it. I had the same one when I was a little girl, and absolutely loved it! Max is too cute, and so big!!
How fun to get away and see your sister and friends. Looks like you had a good time!
I miss you guys, I love this blog post. I Especially love max's belly falling out while reading stories :)
We had a super duper fun time with you guys!! Gavin still thinks he needs a binkie sometimes because Max made it look so cool. Come back soon and bring that husband of yours too!
