I knew that George had night terrors before I married him, but I don't think I ever really knew what I was getting into until it was too late!! He usually doesn't have these night terrors unless we are in an unfamiliar place like when he slept in my cousin's barn with Andy (while we were still dating) and woke up grabbing Andy's leg while yelling "HEY YOU! WHERE AM I?" Or when we first got married and he woke up one night and took all the pictures, that we had just spend the whole day putting up, off the wall.
Sometimes intense/scary movies can trigger them as well, like when he came home from watching "Live Free Die Hard" with his brothers, and woke up that night jumping on the bed and pointing at something by his feet yelling "WHAT IS THAT?? WHAT IS THAT??" Yeah, scared the crap out of me! I thought for sure he was going to chop his head off in our celing fan above our bed.
Anyway, after getting only 5 hours of sleep Friday night, I was EXHAUSTED all day on Saturday. I was nodding off during the BYU game against Wyoming, which was not that exciting of a game even though we had a 44 to 0 win. And later that night I found myself dead asleep on the couch by 10:00 while George was checking football stats on the internet. When George tried to get me to go upstairs and go to bed with him, I just mumbled something and rolled over so he just left me on the couch… BAD MOVE… At exactly 2:38 AM I hear from up above this LOUD “OUCH! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!” and BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM of fast loud foot steps running all around upstairs. (I think George must have been looking for me in his sleep). So, I ran upstairs and found him standing up with his eyes wide open and all the lights on saying “I’m so confused.” I put him back into bed… and same old story… he doesn’t remember a thing!!

that is so wild! Geren and I have been having full on arguments in the middle of the night when the baby wakes us up... he like yells at me and stuff, and then the next morning he says he doesn't remember a thing! I never believe him, though... maybe now, I will.
Sleep talkers for life!
