Boating at Jordanelle

We went boating to Jordanelle with my family last Friday. It was actually really nice for Jordanelle, the water was smooth the whole afternoon, and there weren't a lot of boats to compete with.
Before we left we tried on Max's life jacket... he looks like foam with a head and feet sticking out! He didn't like it very much, but was a good sport and didn't fuss about having to wear it until we pulled out of the water, back onto the trailer.

My dad got this new cool thing called the "EZ SKI" that helps beginners lear how to stand up and hold onto the roap. Ellie (4) was hammin it up! She was blowing kisses, shakin her booty, winking. It was perfect. Sid (7) tried it too, and when she was done we threw her two skis to see if she could get up... she got up on her first try while the boat was still in idle (this was after many tries last year with no success). So, I would say the EZ ski is a success.
